I began woodworking as a hobby about 30 years ago, making things for friends and family.
3 years ago my son Jamal became interested in learning. He has autism so when he showed interest in this endevor I was excited to start. It is a marketable skill
I can teach him and something we can bond over. And that is how JandJ got started.
A year or so ago my brother Mike was discharged from the armed forces and started
helping me out with the business.
We make most things from scratch, and take a lot of pride in what we do. Doing it right takes a little longer sometimes but the results are worth it.
